After being founded in 1974 by Miami native Capt. Don McGee, SeaVee Boats was bought out and is now privately owned and operated by Ariel Pared, Moises Rodriguez and Ralph Torres. Still based out of Miami, SeaVee manufacturers center consoles, cuddy cabins, and express boats that are designed for blue water sportfishing. Part of the brand's name, SeaVee's deep-V hull designs consist of “an up to 25-degree deadrise at the transom for a soft, dry ride in any conditions.” SeaVee's boats range from 29' to 43', and a popular new model is the 43' 430 Express, which is “designed as a live-aboard fishing boat for 4 adults with all of the amenities found in a modern home.” No matter what size SeaVee you choose, you can expect optimal speed and performance, often hitting top speeds exceeding 60 mph. Also, SeaVee hulls are designed to be lightweight and are, thererfore, more fuel efficient and enjoy an increased cruising/fishing range. Targeting new boat owners with an eye for customization, each SeaVee designed in the factory is based around customer's specs and needs. Endless options include multiple bait wells, triple outboards, hardtops, and tuna towers.
