Hydra Sport Boats

Hydra Sport Boats

Hydra-Sports started manufacturing boats in 1973. Those first boats were fiberglass bluewater fishing boats. For 25 years, Hydra-Sports continued to produce fiberglass fishing boats, but moved exclusively into the bluewater fishing boat industry in 1998. Working together with professional anglers, avid fishermen and tournament professionals, new designs were based on what people wanted rather than the latest technology. Genmar, the former owner of Hydra-Sports filed for bankruptcy. The company was bought out by Mastercraft Boat Company in 2010. The new Hydra-Sports is produces fishing boats in three series - Vector, Hydra-Sports and Bay Bolt.
The Vector series of fishing boats is available in 10 models ranging from the 2200 DC to the 4100 VSF. The hull is reinforced with Kevlar, fuel tanks are expanded and fish boxes are larger for long range fishing trips. The 2200 line is available in center console, dual console and performance (VX) models. The model measures at 22‘4“. .
